Illegal Immigration - No Place for Fence Sitters
In a world obsessed with gender equality, it seems that double standards exist. In a recent case in Florida, a female teacher received a three-year house arrest sentence for having an inappropriate relationship with an under aged boy. In similar cases men have received much harsher sentences. Another example is car insurance companies in Britain that offer cheap insurance for female drivers. It seems that men are discriminated against purely on the basis of their gender.
It seems that gender equality groups are quick to defend the rights of women, but do men not deserve the same consideration? Do you think these pressure groups defend the rights of men to the same extent as they do for women? Or do you think double standards exist?
